The Zonda Marketing Services team provides quality content, business solutions, and integrated marketing programs for a wide range of clients and partners. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Director of Project Management and is responsible for managing integrated marketing and media programs. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing client-facing campaigns, trafficking of program assets, managing project execution according to defined budgets and timelines, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring operational excellence across campaigns. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, is an exceptional communicator, excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and has a passion for quality content.

Marketing services campaigns can take many forms and may include management and execution of native advertising programs, email blasts, cross-platform campaigns, and associated administrative tasks . This individual will facilitate communication across a number of departments and teams and help to identify methods for improving business process workflows, optimizing client campaigns, and driving superior results.


Major responsibilities and related duties include:

  • Manage marketing services programs from project kick-off to execution and delivery of final product/service
  • Responsibilities may include scheduling and leading internal and client kick-off calls, creating timelines, facilitating the trafficking of creative assets, engaging freelancers, proofreading content assets, managing budgets, and reporting on and analyzing campaign performance, among others
  • Build strong relationships with clients and external vendors to develop a deeper understanding of business objectives and expectations
  • Help develop and execute content strategies for clients that drive awareness, thought leadership, and demand for their products, services, and solutions
  • Manage and coordinate project workflow by evaluating project status and collaborating with editorial, sales, creative, digital teams and contributors to ensure the development of creative work stays on budget, on time, and meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Execute promotion of sponsored media campaigns via media websites, newsletters, and social platforms


Qualified candidates should possess the following education, skills, and experience:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in a project management or content strategy role, preferably marketing, communications, or media industries
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to support a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and work across multiple disciplines
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience and proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with content development and proofreading is preferred
  • Familiarity with project management software is preferred
  • Familiarity with webinar tools (ex. GoToWebinar, Zoom, On24) is a plus
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and/or publishing software (i.e. Storyline) is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
