Email Marketing Specialist | Marketing/Communications Team

The Email Marketing Specialist is a key member of our marketing and events teams. In this position, you'll be responsible for executing and implementing email marketing campaigns, aimed at increasing our brand awareness.

You will be partnering closely with various departments for B2B and B2C outreach to set priorities, define email marketing strategy and drive our positioning through a variety of content and across all social channels. 

This role is a great fit for a great executor who can creatively market current and future products and events and is tech savvy, staying up-to-date on the latest tools and email marketing best practices.

The role reports to the VP, Corporate Marketing and Communications and is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Execute email marketing efforts for the entire event portfolio, including Frame events

• Proficiency in email deployment systems, i.e. PostUp, SalesForce
• Knowledge of audience segmentation 
• Knowledge of the email template design systems
• Create and maintain email calendar 
• Design and deploy 4-5 emails per week, set up segments design tool, update email marketing reports weekly 

• Set up email journeys in SFMC, execute the journeys, update the reports weekly 

• Have a thorough understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM 
• Have HTML and developer experience to create, build, and edit email designs on multiple platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and BeePro
• Optimize HTML emails for responsiveness with various email clients
• Provide innovative solutions to help reach and engage audiences
• Lead with a digital marketing mindset to help strategize opportunities to evolve email marketing tactics
• Maintain company brand through email design and content

• Enhance and maintain email marketing tools to ensure they provide needed capabilities 
• Collaborate and communicate with events and marketing to ensure content is appealing and informative for the reader
• HTML knowledge a must

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in marketing and communications, specifically in an email marketing role
• Undergraduate degree in a Marketing and/or Communications discipline
• Ability to think strategically while having strong business judgment
• Outstanding written/verbal communication skills and excellent storytelling ability to an executive audience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and launch social tactics and campaigns 
• Comfort with fast-paced environments and strong problem solving
• Inclusive and can-do attitude that adds to our culture
• Proven work experience as an email marketing specialist
• Ability to identify target audience preferences and produce content to meet these preferences
